Miller Freeman, Inc. is committed to protecting your privacy in all aspects of our business, from Web sites and print publications, to trade shows and conferences. Internet
We collect the IP addresses of those who visit our Web sites. This information is used for internal research only. Additionally we also store customer information such as names, mail and email addresses, as volunteered by the consumer for such services as site registration, subscriptions, surveys and more.

Print magazines and newsletters
Subscribers and applicants for print subscriptions to Miller Freeman, Inc. publications are sometimes asked to complete questionnaires with identifying information (including phone numbers, fax numbers and email addresses) as well as demographics.

This data is used in the following ways; to improve the content of our publications, to notify subscribers about renewal and requalification of their subscription, and is used by us for marketing Miller Freeman, Inc. products and services. Some of this information may be used by our audit bureaus to verify cumulative demographic statistics. Additionally this information may be used by Miller Freeman, Inc. for research surveys and is used by our editors for consultation with readers.

Trade shows, conferences, seminars and events Attendees and registrants for {show name} are sometimes asked to complete questionnaires with identifying information (including phone numbers, fax numbers and email addresses) as well as demographics.

This data is used in the following ways; to improve the conference sessions and symposia, to notify attendees and registrants about upcoming events, and is used by us for marketing Miller Freeman, Inc. products and services. Children's privacy online
We understand that children's privacy is important. We do not monitor the age of our user audience. However, if you are under age 13, you should not submit personal identifying information to any Miller Freeman, Inc. Web site without the consent of your parent or guardian.

How we use customer supplied data…
From time to time, we make our customer address and telephone number lists available to other reputable companies and organizations whose products or services we think you might find interesting. We never make customer fax numbers available to anyone outside Miller Freeman, Inc. We do use customer supplied fax numbers to tell customers about ordered products, subscription renewals and upcoming events. When you as a customer have given us permission we may make your email address available to other reputable companies and organizations whose products or services we think might be of interest. If, subsequently, you do not want us to use your email address for communications concerning Miller Freeman, Inc. products and services, and/or be shared with other companies or organizations, please let us know (see contact information below).

In addition, we may disclose certain personal identifying information about you to third parties, or to other Miller Freeman divisions, under the circumstances described below.

Information you choose to disclose to third parties: From time to time, Miller Freeman, Inc. may allow third parties to advertise on our sites, or may provide links to sites we think may be of interest to you.
